I’m taking over Henning’s place today and we’re going to check out the Orange Valve Tester! As you know, I’ve been a tube amp guy forever, and the big question seems to be “when do you change out your tubes?”
The Orange Valve Tester will test your tubes and give it a “grade” or “value” and you’ll be able to see if your tubes are actually matched or not!
What we have today are some KT66’s from The Tube Amp Doctor, these are pretty sick!
Once we have the tube plugged in and all set, it takes about 2 minutes to heat up all the elements. Watch the video above to find out the result!
