Another video from Guitcon – I’m hanging out with my good friend, Robert Baker and the developers of the Dual Klonz amp (Andrea Fiorini and Fabrizio Brenchio.) In case you missed it, I did an unboxing of the Dual Klonz amp a few months back.
The DualKlonz is an all-analog signal path tube amp with programmable preamp and power amp sections… including self biasing and several power tube sets. It take emulation to a whole new place.
What so cool about this amp it is a multipath amp. Meaning different parts of the circuit get switched in and out depending on the amp it’s trying to emulate. It’s not a digital emulation, there’s actually no digital circuits involved.
One of the coolest pieces about the Dual Klonz is that it comes with tube kits. You’ll need different tubes depending on the amp you’re trying to emulate.
What this is, is a great studio tool. You can get everything from that vintage Marshall sound to the super clean Vox sound to some great metal tones! This amp can definitely cover the basis AND it’s all analogue. There’s no digital signal path at all.
You’ll be seeing more videos about the Dual Klonz on the channel! If you have any questions or comments, make sure you leave them on YouTube! If you’re new to the channel, every Friday is Viewer’s Comments.
