I recently had a chance to hang out with Mr. Martin Miller at Thomann Gearhead University and check out the Laney Ironheart. It’s a tube preamp and a solid state power amp. It’s a class D power amp. I’ve been seeing these class D power amps popping up all over the place; Darkglass is using it with the Microtubes 900 head, Thomas Blug has it on the Amp1.
Martin is here because he’s a fantastic guitar player! He’s going to show us with the Laney Ironheart can do! This little portable amp would be great for gigging!
