Today we’re taking a look at the Fortin Nameless plugin from Neural DSP. I was a little hesitant when they first asked me to review their new guitar plugin, that is until I checked out Ola’s demo!
I’ve been messing around with this for about a week and it’s pretty interesting! It’s based off of a Mike Fortin Design (the creator of some really great metal amps over the years).
I guess I should also mention that I’m using my custom cabinet impulses in all of these clips. I like the built in IR’s blending capabilities and I definitely like the results.
I have to say I’m becoming more and more impressed with what’s coming out in the way of Amp Sims these days.
You can check out the Fortin Nameless at https://neuraldsp.com/ where there’s a presale going on for the next couple of days before it’s released! And if you buy it you’ll also get a discount code for Custom Impulse Responses from Lancaster Audio featuring signature IR packs from Cameron Webb, Ulrich Wild, Bob Marlette, Warren Huart, and Myself.
