What am I doing in California? Well, I’ve been hanging out with the Gear Gods guys, Warren Huart and visiting some of my favorite spots!

I thought we’d come out here, in front of my least favorite stores in California and do an episode of “Viewer’s Comments!”

Do you have any advice for motivating “musicians” to practice? My brother spends a lot of his free time thinking about gear and what he wants to do in the future, and not nearly enough time actually practicing to make that future happen. Thoughts?
That’s the real rub, isn’t it? You can make plans all you want. Plans, upon plans, upon plans! The trick is to ACTUALLY DO STUFF. A very good friend of mine once said “You just gotta do stuff.”
Tell him to get off his ass and PRACTICE! It’s not going to just happen. Nobody’s going to wave a magic wand. He’s not Cinderella! Wanting it isn’t enough. Doing it. Actually doing it- that’s the trick.
Do it or don’t. That’s up to you!
